The PCRA Process

PCRA methods provide various forms of information useful in CRM planning and implementation. Some of the PCRA methods can be implemented simultaneously, one after the other, or repeatedly, or not implemented at all. PCRA methods are most effective when the community worker (CW) works together with at least one partner or counterpart from an LGU or NGO who has knowledge and skills that complement those of the CW.

Generally, a PCRA exercise in one community or barangay will take 2 or 3 days and should be conducted in succeeding days without break. The methods are presented here in the approximate order in which they are best accomplished.
